The latest round of regionals has drawn to a close with some of our regions attracting record attendance figures.  Due to the demand ACAD will also be hosting a virtual regional, look out for the invitation to this shortly.

On the agenda was HSE licensing latest, all the updates from the ALG, Strategic information via Build UK as well as cost cutting information for members needing to go down the NVQ route for the ACAD Skill Card and so much more.

ACAD Manager Graham Warren commented “It was fantastic to see numbers growing yet again with some of our newer venues outgrown once more.  ACAD regionals have a very relaxed tone and the feedback always seems to be positive, new people who have never been to an ACAD regional describe them as a welcome breath of fresh air.”

Attendees have also been sitting the follow up test to enable ACAD to certificate the learning that occurs, this is a free service for our members to support a TNA approach to manager competence.

The next round of ACAD regionals are in November but don’t forget to watch out for the virtual summer regional in the coming weeks.
