NVQ

National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ) are work-based qualifications which have been developed to recognise existing skills and knowledge to prove competence.  NVQ is ideal for operatives working within the industry who require a CSCS card and have experience but no formal qualifications.  They are open to anyone, regardless of age or previous learning or academic attainment.

Evidence is gained by on-site assessment carried out by ACAD assessors to verify the learner’s abilities and build a portfolio of evidence.  On-site assessment usually consists of a mix of observation and discussion, completion of work diaries and witness testimony.
