TICA is now recruiting for the next Apprentice intake year, 2018/19.
TICA provides members with a full apprentice recruitment service, writing and placing apprenticeship vacancy advertisements, providing the initial sift of applicants to ensure candidates meet your requirements and assisting with arranging interviews, where necessary.
Accommodation for English and Welsh apprentices is now covered by the funding we receive from ESFA – TICA will book and pay for all accommodation Monday to Friday.
The Scottish Government funding does not cover accommodation so TICA now offers Scottish members a £1,500 accommodation grant per apprentice.
Please contact TICA for availability of our upcoming induction weeks, we can accommodate up to 10 apprentices per group. Once the induction week has been completed the apprentices will be assigned to a group and both the apprentice and employer will be notified of the TICA House attendance dates.
The apprenticeship is now assessed using the Smart Assessor e-portfolio system, all apprentices will be trained to use Smart Assessor during their induction. Employer logins will be provided for all apprentices; if you currently have an apprentice on programme and have yet to use Smart Assessor please contact Louise Peacock at lpeacock@tica.uk.com to receive your login details and further information.
If you already have a candidate in mind to undertake the apprenticeship, please can your apprentice(s) complete the Application Form, by hand, and return it to training@tica.uk.com; a completed and approved application form is required prior to TICA arranging interviews with the TICA Training Officers.
