TICA attended the Annual Apprenticeships Conference in Birmingham – raising the profile of the Association and sharing best practice amongst industry peers.
As well as presenting a paper on the 20% off the job training requirement for apprentices registered on the Standards, CEO, Marion Marsland and Operations Manager, Madeleine Hill were waiting to find out how TICA had fared at the first ever AAC Apprenticeship Awards.
TICA were nominated for the Construction Apprenticeship Provider of the Year category of the new awards at the end of last year; and was shortlisted – alongside CITB.
“Though we didn’t win, we were really pleased to be shortlisted.” says Marion. “To be recognised as a contender at national level is a testament to the hard work and commitment of the whole team. We continue to strive towards excellence, providing the best possible support to apprentices embarking on their careers in thermal insulation.”
