The TICA/ACAD Charity of the Year has been announced.

Members chose to support the British Heart Foundation, with generous guests at TICA’s 60th anniversary celebrations raising more than £2000 for the charity in Manchester at the beginning of October.

Staff, learners and members will organise fundraising activities to benefit the charity over the next 12 months, including at ACAD’s 25th anniversary Golf Day and Awards Dinner in June.

British Heart Foundation is the nation’s leading heart charity and the largest independent funder of cardiovascular research.

Coronary heart disease is the UK’s single biggest killer but BHF is leading the fight against it. Their pioneering research has helped to transform the lives of people living with heart and circulatory conditions.
