Following on from my time at JS Millers I returned to college at the training centre in Darlington.

On arrival I found out my week would consist of an Armacell course lasting for four days, where I’d learn about the different ways of turning Armaflex into thermal insulation to fit a wide range of pipes, fittings, flanges and valves on site.

Throughout the week there were various different ways of developing different fittings. At the end of the week we were also given the job of a team challenge.  Myself, Ashley, Will, and Luke had the task of covering the full rig, and making it all look as good as possible.

Whilst at college I also made sure I used my time to finish all my project so that I only have my phase test left – something I that will look to finish in the near future.

Moving on from my time at college, I’m starting with Powertherm Contract Services; learning more around the job, and furthering my skills.
