Each year, TICA and ACAD staff, members and apprentices contribute to a chosen good-cause through a range of fundraising activities. 

Our charity year starts at the ACAD golf and dinner event in June, when fundraising forms a key part of this ever popular event.

In 2016 we’re going to be helping two Forces’ charities.

Help for Heroes provides direct, practical support for wounded, injured and sick service personnel, veterans and their loved ones.

Founded in 2007, the charity gives grants to individuals and specialist charity partners. Help for Heroes delivers services through its network of Recovery Centres in Wiltshire, North Yorkshire, Essex and Devon.

Care After Combat was formed in 2014 to offer support and professional help to former service personnel who have become vulnerable in civilian life.

The charity, whose Chairman is Jim Davison CBE, offers support to veterans and also runs specific programmes to help veterans affected by alcoholism or who have been in prison.

20% of this year’s fundraising total will be donated to the charity.
