We are looking for an experienced and qualified Thermal Insulator with a passion for our industry to join our team at TICA House.
Based at The National Training Centre in Darlington, you will be required to travel to sites across the UK, for which travel expenses will be reimbursed. You will assess and observe S/NVQ candidates, trainee apprentices and facilitate Competency Tests for experienced insulators wishing to gain the correct TICA Skill Card. The L3 qualification in assessing is advantageous (formerly A1) but not essential as we will accept applications with the caveat that the successful candidate will be willing to undertake the qualification upon take up of the post.
Supporting and delivering vocational sessions both in the workshop and in the classroom, the L3 in Education and Training (formerly PTTLs) will also be a longer term requirement for the successful applicant.
This is a newly created post to provide further resources to our expanding apprenticeship and training delivery service to TICA member companies and the wider industry.
Salary will range from £29k – £33k depending on experience and qualifications .
